ABOUT ME

Growing up in Toronto and listening to Funk, R&B, Reggae & Calypso provided by his parent’s record collection, Nigel B. is hard to pin down musically. Inspired by his parents love of music and seeing international DJ's spinning Nigel B. took up the art of DJ'ing at the age of 14. It was only a few years later Nigel B. started playing with T.K.O. Sound Crew and DJ’ing in Night Clubs. After years of development Nigel B. is now a fixture of Toronto's night life club scene for over 20 years and have travelled all across Canada, the U.S.A. and the Caribbean DJ'ing. Nigel B.'s passion for Hip-Hop, R&B, Top 40 and Reggae has helped him create a style of his own where he fuses the different genre together to keep the dance floor rocking all night long. Nigel B. has shared the stage with such well known international artist such as Black Eyed Peas, P.Diddy, Mariah Carey, Naughty By Nature, Doug E Fresh, Beenie Man, Midnight Star and recently Al Hudson & One Way just to name a few. In the year 2000 Nigel B. Received Soul Choice nomination for DJ of the year and won this prestigious award. In 2004 he received the life time achievement award from Stylus who is the center for Canadian's top DJ’s. Nigel B is well versed in the language of music today and yesterday and is considered one of the top leading DJ’s across Canada.
